Last journal was in september so here I go again.
I usually hang out on Tumblr, that's where I post new art and webcomic stuff so ya, if you wanna keep up with my bullshit I Recommend™ you follow me there (both are linked at the end of this journal). I also recently made an instagram (Hypercomix) if you're into that.
My webcomic hit 300 fans on SJ (and 100 on tapas which is insane) the other day and someone please hold me because that's the most followers I've had anywhere which means a lot to a mediocre unknown artist like me. I still don't believe it.
Other than that I've been crazy depressed and busy with university LOL!!! I graduate this spring and after that it's time to (hopefully) get a job as a system developer and earn some serious cash. Perhaps then I will buy a cintiq tablet (or a similar one of a cheaper brand who the fuck knows) and reach true elightment.
Time to draw some more Comics™.

I think that's an OK number? The religion and location parts were a bit tough tho since neither of these works the way they do IRL in my stories/universes. For example: In PoP (my webcomic) almost everyone is religious since they worship gods, but not gods that are worshipped in our world. And none of my stories have earths that look like our. The only one I could give an IRL location was Electria (an old OC) since she's scandinavian and always has been in my eyes, but almost everyone else in that universe is from the city where The Dangerzone takes place.
I suggest you try out this meme too, it was fun!

COMIC SPOTLIGHT ON SMACK JEEVES

Y'ALL I HAVE BIG NEWS
For those who does not follow my personal tumblr: I've been feeling shit about my art lately, like anxiety level of shit, but today something unexpected happened.
Today when I woke up and went to the Smack Jeeves website I noticed that I had a message. I don't get much attention over at SJ so I was like wut.
My comic, I swear to god, has been picked to be featured in the comic spotlight on the front page. I've always thought that the comic spotlight was for the most elite top quality comics from famous artists. So I got suspicious. But it's true. It has been chosen. Like, someone thought it was good enough to be featured on the front page. This is a thing that has happened. In real life. I don't know for how long they stay in the spotlight, I know some of them has been there for ages, but holy shit I don't believe it. Like I got to submit a banner and all. It's on the front page? Like the famous ones? That has hundreds of "fans" (that's what they call subscribers on SJ). And mine has like 18??? Is this some sort of bizarre dream???? Why me? This is so surreal? I can't believe it???? I never, in my wildest dreams, thought this would happen. Yeah it might be a small thing for some people, but it's huge to me. My art has NEVER gotten this kind of attention. This is NEW to me. I am so blessed??? What are the odds?????? I'm so lucky???
I want to thank everyone who has supported me. Even if PoP was just supposed to be my experiment where I learn how to draw comics, this means SO MUCH to me. Oh boy it feels like I'm making such a huge deal out of this when it isn't (but I think it is).

Hello everyone! And an extra special hello to all my new watchers! Thank you for watching me! I hope you will enjoy my art
Yeah I think it's time to post a new journal here. I am a lot more active on tumblr these days, so if you want to keep up with my shenanigans you can check out my art tumblr here! ^w^
I am currently free from school (FOR NOW) because it is SUMMER. I won't work this summer, mostly because of mental health issues, but also because this year at uni fucking KILLED ME how I managed to pass everything is a god damn miracle and I am blessed. I need some time to rest. BUT all this free time has given me a lot of time to draw! Most of the time I work on my webcomic but I also spend a lot of time practicing stuff like anatomy, backgrounds etc etc. The webcomic helps me improve a lot too since it makes me draw so much.
My next year at uni will be my last (hopefully). It has been 4 years so far, I dropped out after two years in my old town because I was miserable. I will hopefully finish this one and get my degree (a bachelor's degree in Sweden is 3 years)
I am doing pretty good, despite the fact that my doctor wanted to hospitalize me at one point (in case you don't know what that means: it's what they do when they think you are a danger to yourself and/or others). Once I graduate (or have gathered enough confidence/skill) I might write and publish my first comic book! Like, a physical one, not online. I have already started a little and done some research.
So yeah at least I think I know what I want to do and what I want to work towards. It's nice to have a plan for once.
